The Short Version: Outgrow stores everything on your device. We don't collect your data. We don't have servers. We don't track you. Your goals, activities, and progress are yours alone.
Outgrow stores the following information locally on your device:
All data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework in your device's secure storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (e.g., sharing your witness contract or weekly update with someone).
We don't collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Specifically:
Outgrow uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) to power the AI coach features. These models run entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers for AI processing. Apple's privacy protections apply.
If you grant notification permissions, Outgrow schedules local notifications for activity reminders and weekly reviews. These are generated and delivered by your device—not sent from external servers.
When you share your witness contract or weekly updates, you control what gets shared and with whom. Sharing uses your device's native share functionality (Messages, Mail, etc.). Outgrow generates the content; you choose where it goes.
To delete all your data, use the "Clear All Data" option in Settings, or simply delete the Outgrow app. All data is removed immediately and permanently.
Outgrow does not collect any data, so it complies with children's privacy regulations by default. However, we recommend parental guidance for users under 13.
If we update this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify users through an app update. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Outgrow is committed to your privacy. We built this app to help you build habits, not to collect your data. Everything stays on your device, under your control.
